Zachary Richardson, MD

Dr. Richardson joined Vantage Eye Center in 2019. He received his bachelor of science degree in biology at the University of California, Irvine and his medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
He completed his residency training in ophthalmology at New York University Langone and Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospitals in New York City. He then went on to specialize in glaucoma, after completing his fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to coming to Vantage Eye Center, Dr. Richardson worked in private practice in New York City, and also as a clinical instructor at New York University and Bellevue Hospitals, where he was awarded teacher of the year from 2018 to 2019.
Dr. Richardson is one of two fellowship trained glaucoma eye surgeons at Vantage Eye Center that focused on vision restoration.
Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. In his spare time Dr. Richardson enjoys videography, traveling, music, hiking and camping.
